To be eligible for this programme, you must have recently graduated from a BC university with a Master’s or PhD in applied, natural, or health sciences.

This stream is way for workers in a valid long haul trucking, tourism/hospitality or food processing occupation to obtain Permanent Residency in Canada.
Applicant Eligibility
- Accept a full-time, indefinite job offer from a BC business in a specialised occupation such as tourism/hospitality, long-haul haulage, or food processing. The job offer must be accepted. You can apply for any National profession classification position in the Northeast Development Region (Skill level C or D)
- You must have worked at the same place of employment for at least nine months before applying for a job.
- Meet the minimum education and language requirements
- Qualify for the job that is offered to you
- Proof of funds to support yourself and your family
- A legal immigrant who is a Canadian citizen or permanent residence.
