Permanent Residency

Permanent Residency Express Entry

This is a system based out of 1200 points. The applicant receives a rank in the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) based on the points scored in the Express Entry draw. A draw is announced about every two weeks by IRCC(Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada) and if the applicant meets the cutoff score in the draw then he/she will receive an ITA(Invitation To Apply). Once an ITA is received, the applicant has 90 days to submit their documents for Permanent Residency. Once the documents are sent across to the applicant’s passport is stamped with a one time entry visa. A COPR (Confirmation Of Permanent Residency) is given to the applicant after the passport stamping is completed. The entire process from starting the application to receiving the COPR will take on average anywhere between 8-10 months or more depending on the government policies and regulations.
